Largehearted Boy's Interesting CD Releases This Week

Vampire Weekend’s self-titled debut album has been getting much deserved love from blogs and mainstream media alike. It sees its US release tomorrow.

Death Cab for Cutie‘s Chris Walla also releases his much-anticipated solo album, Field Manual. Other albums I can strongly recommend is the Helio Sequence’s excellent Keep Your Eyes Open, Ida’s Lovers Prayers, Jeffrey Lewis’s 12 Crass Songs, Thao’s We Brave Bee Stings and All, and Xiu Xiu’s Women As Lovers

Interesting reissues include a two-disc deluxe remastered edition of Beck‘s Odelay along with six remastered Van Morrison albums, each with bonus tracks.
