by Klaus Kinski
Eugene Mirman Comedy Festival
The Eugene Mirman Comedy Festival (9/25-9/28 at The Bell House and Union Hall in Park Slope) kicks-off in just over a week and the line-up and ticket info is finally coming to light. As predicted, the roster of participants is siiiiiicccckkkkk. In addition to a ton of local favorites, some of the best comedians from Chicago, LA, San Francisco and beyond are also gracing our fine burrough. I am particularly stoked to see Bobby Bingo, Arj Barker, Tig Notaro, Morgan Murphy, Hannibal Buress and the Sklar Brothers. More special guests are in the works, but for now feast your eyes on the current dates and line-ups (and ticket links) below….

Sep 25 – 8:00pm – The Bell House (Opening Night Awards Gala) Hosted by Eugene Mirman. With Seth Herzog, Bobby Tisdale, Patrick Borelli, Janeane Garofalo, and many special guests. This will be a fake awards show, with food, followed by Bobby Bingo (Bobby Tisdale’s super-fun bingo game), and an afterparty DJed by Craig Baldo. (TICKETS)

Sep 26 – 9:00pm – The Bell House (Invite Them Up) Bobby Tisdale hosts. With John Oliver, Aziz Ansari, Eugene Mirman, Ron Lynch and special guests. (TICKETS)

Sep 27 – 7:00pm – Union Hall (Eugene Mirman’s Fresh Faces of Comedy) Larry Murphy, Greg Johnson, Dave Hill, Kumail Nanjiani, and more.

Sep 28 – 6:00pm – The Bell House (The Shac) Heather Lawless, Chelsea Peretti, Shonali Bhowmik, Andrea Rosen and special guests.

Sep 28 – 9:00pm – The Bell House (Tearing The Veil of Maya, Closing Ceremonies) Hosted by Michael Showalter. Mike Birbiglia, Fred Armisen, Eugene Mirman, John Mulaney, and very special guests. Plus closing night party. (TICKETS)

Not sure how much the Union Hall shows will be, but besides the $15 opening night shindig, it looks like those Bell House shows are a measly 10 bucks. Totally worth it for the already announced comedians alone. I am not sure we’ll see a comedy festival of this magnitude in NYC anytime soon so take advantage people!
