Perez Hilton has announced that Lady Gaga is headlining his CMJ showcase at Highline Ballroom. One thing I know about Lady Gaga, after some research just now, is that she stripped down to some revealing clothing and performed half-naked (a state she seems most comfortable in) at Lollapalooza in 2007. I also know she calls NYC home, is signed to Interscope, is opening for New Kids on the Block at MSG, and is working with Britney Spears. Semi Precious Weapons is also on the Friday night Perez bill, and though you might not be sold on this one yet, I have heard rumors that one of my favorite/the best NYC performers/bands/soul singers is also, for better or for worse, on this bill (which he’ll be announcing piecemeal as the week goes on).
