Patterson Hood in NYC (WIN TIX) ++ album out ++ tour dates
Murdering Oscar (and other love songs), the second solo album by Patterson Hood of the Drive-By Truckers, is out today (June 23nd). Its release coincides with Hood’s Music Hall of Williamsburg show tonight, which is part of his ongoing solo tour. Tickets are still on sale, and we have three pairs to give away. More details on that below.
Hood also plays Wednesday (June 24th) at the Bowery Ballroom (tickets are still on sale). The solo tour continues into July, with more dates below. The Screwtopians lineup includes Will Johnson and Scott Danbom (Centro-matic/South San Gabriel), David Barbe (Sugar) and John Neff and Brad Morgan (Drive-By Truckers). Will Johnson opens both shows.
