The Maccabees playing both NY shows w/ Miike Snow (dates)

The Maccabees are coming to the US for what at this point is just a two-night NYC run. For that, the band’s previously announced Music Hall of Williamsburg show on June 20th will be followed by a Monday, June 22nd gig at Mercury Lounge. Tickets are on sale.

Both show will feature Swedish trio Miike Snow. That band was to make its North American debut at Santos in May, and then again at Studio B earlier in June. Both of those shows were canceled, so these Maccabees dates will be Miike Snow’s first NYC appearance (no longer their first overseas shows as they played KCRW’s Morning Becomes Eclectic on June 9th, and will play tonight, June 10th, in Costa Mesa).

The Maccabees’ new disc, Wall of Arms, is out now on Fiction Records. Miike Snow’s self-titled debut is out as well, on Downtown.
