Roky Erickson playing Garage Fest, New Year's @ Maxwell's

Spend New Years Eve with Roky Erickson in Hoboken! OK, I admit that seems like an odd concept. Neverthelees, that’s where he’ll be playing on December 31st. According to the venue (Maxwell’s), “He has a splendid new band and alongside his current live faves, has added such Top Ten hits as “Don’t Slander Me” and “Reverberation” to the set.” Tickets go on-sale Friday at noon via Ticketweb and will also be available at Tunes in Hoboken and Other Music in Manhattan.
