Jeffrey Lewis & Peter Stampfel releasing an LP, playing shows (Cake Shop tonight with not-Dufus)

One of anti-folk’s most talented stars, Jeffrey Lewis, has teamed up with folk legend Peter Stampfel of The Holy Modal Rounders (and the Fugs) for a new LP entitled Come On Board (I’m not sure of the release date). The two will also be playing shows together, including a January European tour, but first you can catch them at Cake Shop in NYC TONIGHT (1/10) with Dufus frontman Seth Faergolzia who didn’t stay away long. “Dufus” played their final show at the same venue in September, but I guess Seth hasn’t technically retired.
