Fitz & the Tantrums played Music Hall of Williamsburg w/ Devin Therriault (pics, setlist, more dates)

The show went fast, flew by much like a good show should (I didn’t even need alcohol). Before I knew it we reached the encore and the six-piece band played “We Don’t Need Love Songs,” a song off their 2009 EP, Songs for a Breakup, Vol. 1, one of the top performances of the evening. They closed it out with their hit “MoneyGrabber,” where lead singer, Fitzpatrick, demanded the crowd get as low as they could for the final chorus which led to jumping frenzy. -[IndieMediaMag]

The Lefsetz-approved Fitz & The Tantrums (who are approvers of Lefsetz) completed their recent run of US dates with one final show, at Music Hall of Williamsburg on 2/16, a month after the band played Bowery Ballroom. Devin Therriault opened and pictures from that Brooklyn show adorn this post.

Devin Therriault has a few NYC shows in the near future, the nearest happening TONIGHT (2/22) at Bowery Electric with Pisser and Brass Knuckle Evangelists. Later this week (2/26), look for Therriault at Shea Stadium and look for him at Mercury Lounge on March 8th supporting Ty Segall (tickets), his last show before shipping off to SXSW.
