Noisy folk singer EMA (Erika M. Anderson) will play two shows in NYC tonight 7/20. She’ll play an early show at Mercury Lounge with Helado Negro and a late show at Glasslands with Talk Normal and Ablehearts. Tickets for the early show and the late show are still available.

EMA contributed a killer take on Nirvana’s “Endless, Nameless” to Newermind. The track sounds more like EMA than Nirvana and is possibly the best cover on the album.

EMA also played the Empty Bottle in Chicago the day before she played Pitchfork Music Festival. Check out pictures from Pitchfork here and a set of pics from the Empty Bottle show, along with updated tour dates below…
