Pictureplane heads out on the Check Yo Ponytail tour with Spank Rock, Big Freedia, The Death Set, and Franki Chan later this month (it hits Brooklyn Bowl), but first you can check yo Pictureplane at a free show at Santos Partyhouse tonight (10/11) with Mux Mool (DJ set), Beacon, and DJ Todd Pendu. The occasion? “Videogame arts and culture company Kill Screen is partnering with Capcom to launch the first ever Fright Club based on their zombie titles such as Dead Rising 2 Off the Record, Resident Evil : Operation Raccoon City, and Resident Evil Revelations.” Sailor Jerry, another sponsor, will also be providing drink specials. Sounds like fun. One problem: you need to RSVP to enter and RSVP is now closed. Another problem: even if you RSVP’d, it’s first come, first served.
