Pre-SXSW festivities are underway in NYC and three of the buzziest bands here from Europe shared a bill at Knitting Factory in Brooklyn Saturday night (3/10). Those three bands were the Sub Pop-signed Niki & the Dove (from Stockholm), London’s Charli XCX (who plays again at Santos Monday night and at the
Pitchfork showcase at SXSW), and England’s Clock Opera (who also plays again at Santos Monday night). NYC’s Ghost Beach opened the show, and like the rest, are headed to Texas this week. Here are some pictures from the Brooklyn show. More below…
