Dirty Projectors at Music Hall of Williamsburg – 7/9/12
Dirty Projectors

Dirty Projectors are currently on tour in support of their great new album, Swing Lo Magellan (out today [7/10], stream it), and that tour brought them to Music Hall of Williamsburg last night (7/9) for their first of two NYC shows. They played every song on the new album except its closing track, “Irresponsible Tune,” in addition to a few off 2009’s Bitte Orca and “Beautiful Mother” from their EP with Bjork. Last night’s show was intimate show for the band, and needless to say, the show had sold out quickly and the venue was packed to the brim. You can watch the archived video of their set (which streamed live) HERE. Dustin Wong opened the show. Pictures, new band member Olga Bell included, are in this post.

Dirty Projectors play Brooklyn again tonight (7/10), this time at the much larger Prospect Park with Purity Ring and Wye Oak as part of Celebrate Brooklyn. Tickets for tonight’s show are still available.

More pics from last night (setlist included) and some videos from the show are below.
