Icona Pop playing shows, Santos in September (dates)

Swedish dance duo Icona Pop will return to NYC for a show at Santos on September 12. Tickets are on sale now. The band’s only other North American dates are Chicago on August 30 and Austin’s Fun Fun Fun Fest in November. All Icona Pop tour dates are listed below.
Icona Pop’s recent Charli XCX-penned single “I Love It” may still be stuck in your brain like a Centaurian slug. (The video’s below.) The band played Glasslands last month and I thought they were pretty good for basically being two people onstage singing to backing tracks with occasional knob-twiddling. There was definitely no lack of energy on stage, with much dancing and fist-pumping. Video of them performing “I Love It” there is below.
