Patterson Hood releasing new solo LP (stream a track), playing shows including The Bell House (dates)
The Drive-by-Truckers’ Patterson Hood will be releasing his third solo record, Heat Lightning Rumbles In The Distance, on September 11 via ATO Records. The album’s first single, “Come Back Little Star,” featuring onetime Jody Grind singer Kelly Hogan, is streaming below.
Patterson is playing a few select dates over the summer, most with his band The Downtown Rumblers, including a show in NYC at the Bell House on Monday (7/23) with an acoustic set from Atlanta, GA’s Turf War. Tickets for that show are still available. All Patterson Hood tour dates are listed below.
