Bloc Party played Terminal 5 again (night 2 setlist and video)

Bloc Party at Terminal 5 – 8/7/12 (more by Dana (distortion) Yavin)
Bloc Party

Bloc Party continued their three-night run at Terminal 5 with The Drums last night (8/8), after beginning it one night earlier (8/7). In terms of older Bloc Party songs, the setlist was pretty similar to the first night, including classics like “Banquet,” “Helicopter,” “Like Eating Glass,” “Hunting for Witches,” etc., though it wasn’t without a few changes. They mixed it up in terms of the new songs though. Both shows included “Octopus” and “Real Talk” so far, but last night they leaned more towards the heavy side of the new album, opening their set with Four opener, “So He Begins To Lie” (the band’s best Pony Express Record-era Shudder to Think impression to date) and including the Bloc Party-goes-Smashing Pumpkins headbanger, “Kettling.”

If you missed last night’s show, did you stream it? If you missed the stream (or just want to re-live the experience), Bowery Presents will be hosting the full show for 24 hours. It was supposed to go up at 9 AM today (8/9), but due to a “technical glitch,” the airing has been delayed. Bowery promises, “There will still be a full 24 hours of access to the full show, from the time we are able to make it live. Apologies for the delay.” In the meantime, you can watch them perform “Real Talk” from last night’s show and check out the setlist below.
