Two Boots is celebrating its 25th Anniversary with a free concert at East River Park Amphitheater featuring Sierra Leone’s Refugee All Stars, Mamarazzi, Odetta Hartman, Himalayas and The Whiskeyhickon Boys. The party goes from 5 – 9PM and will also feature free pizza.

Montreal’s Duchess Says make a rare NYC appearance tonight at Public Assembly. Be prepared to get up close with singer Annie-Claude.

Next door at Music Hall of Williamsburg it’s a free Converse Rubbertracks show with Action BronsonMeyhem LaurenFlatbush Zombies, andTanya Morgan. Admission is first come, first served. Doors are at 8 PM.

Comedy options tonight include two separate shows featuring funny people telling true stories: Reggie Watts and Marina Franklin are among the guests at Kevin Allison’s “live storytelling” show ‘Risk!‘ at The Pit (tonight’s theme: “So Emotional”); and over at Brooklyn Brewery it’s ‘Tom Shillue’s Funny Story’ with Jessi Klein, Lisa Delarios, and Trace Crutchfield.

Mike Birbiglia‘s movie Sleepwalk with Me opens at the IFC Center tonight. The midnight screening has free popcorn and soda if you wear your pajamas. Mike and co-writer Ira Glass will be there too. Trailer for the film is below.

Variety Lights, the new project from original Mercury Rev frontman David Baker, added a show tonight at Maxwell’s. They’ll also play Public Assembly tomorrow.

Clint Eastwood’s Unforgiven screens at Brooklyn Bridge Park.
