Barbara Streisand played her first of two, and first-ever Brooklyn show at the Barclays Center last night. Those in attendance missed the live Vice President debate, but still got a taste of politics at the show:

“I love Big Bird and I hope no one tells Romney how to get to Sesame Street … or to Pennsylvania Avenue,” cracked Streisand, according to the Huffington Post.

Streisand also said of Romney: “He’s a good actor. [He’s] a chameleon. It’s great.”

Babs plays the new venue, that only Jay-Z played before her, again Saturday night.

In the “why’d it take eight years for this to happen” department, Snoop Dogg, with help by Andy Milonakis, has recorded a version of his hit “Drop it Like it’s Hot” as a Hot Pockets jingle. Of course there’s a video:


Daughter played on The Late Show with David Letterman last night (10/11), performing “Youth,” and you can watch that below. Daughter will be playing shows in NYC next week for CMJ.


Zomby will release his “next album and EP” at some point via 4AD, but ahead of that eventual release, he dropped a new song, “Devils,” which you can download for free.

Bill would like to wish his old college radio station, WWVU-FM (Morgantown, WV), a happy 30th birthday which they are celebrating all weekend. Keep the flame alive, guys!
