Tiny Fingers are here from Israel, playing our Friday day party and other CMJ/NYC shows (dates, stream & live video)

Tiny Fingers

Israeli band Tiny Fingers are visiting NYC and their next show is at our BV day party on Friday (10/19) at Public Assembly. They kick off the main stage line-up at noon. Our party is 100% free, you don’t need to RSVP and there will be complimentary beverages from PBR, Sailor Jerry spiced rum and Mercy.

We caught Tiny Fingers at the Jerusalem Music Conference in August and they were one of the highlights of the festival, a powerful, tight, proggy post-rock assault who sometimes perform with a singer, and sometimes without. They’ve opened for Mars Volta in Israel and that’s a fitting double bill. You can stream last year’s Massive Fingers Spacetrip and check out some live videos at the bottom of this post.

In addition to our day party, Tiny Fingers will play the CMJ Closing Night Party at Union Square Ballroom on Saturday (10/20, 9:45 PM) with I.U.D.M., Inky Jack, The Killing Floor, Hussle Club, Figo, and Alex English.

Another group we saw in Israel, though one that is a bit more fun and quirky, are called The Raw Men Empire and they’re also currently on a tour of the US and in NYC for CMJ. Dates listed at their Facebook include Pete’s Candy Store and Freddy’s Bar (tonight, 10/18).

After CMJ, Tiny Fingers are sticking around NYC and will play Trash Bar on 10/22, Fontana’s on 10/23, Pianos on 10/24 and Lit Lounge on 10/26. All tour dates are listed below, along with the album stream.
