Mount Eerie is coming; listen to his two 2012 albums condensed into one 7" (updated dates, stream)

Mount Eerie at LPR in September (more by Amanda Hatfield)
Mount Eerie

If you’ve been following along with Phil Elverum’s Mount Eerie project, you probably know that he’s released two albums, Clear Moon and Ocean Roar, this year. But if you’ve felt like two albums in one year is a lot to digest in the ADD age, Phil has graciously released a 7″ where side A is every song on Clear Moon being played simultaneously and side B is every song on Ocean Roar being played simultaneously. You can give a listen to the experiment below, and if you like (or can even make out) what you hear, you can order the 7″ at the Mount Eerie webstore.

Mount Eerie is already starting to end up on some year-end lists this year (like MOJO) and it won’t be surprising to see him on more as they come out.

As mentioned, he’s got two NYC shows coming up this month which happen on Wednesday (11/28) at Le Poisson Rouge and Thursday (11/29) at NYU’s Kimmel’s Eisner and Lubin Auditorium. Tickets for the LPR show are on sale now and admisison for the NYU show is free to NYU students and $3 to the general public. These are his only two announced US shows before he heads to Australia in February.

An updated list of dates and song streams are below.
