Deer Tick kicked off their Brooklyn Bowl residency on Wednesday night (12/5), the first of three shows for the band. Wednesday’s shows focused on the band’s Born On Flag Day and Fuel For the Firereleases, which saw the band perform each from front-to-back:

During the Born On Flag Day song “Friday XIII” the band pulled a fan out of the audience to sing Liz Isenberg’s studio parts. The night closed with an extended encore featuring “Standing at the Threshold,” “Art Isn’t Real (City of Sin),” “These Old Shoes,” “Spend the Night,” “What Kind of Fool Am I?” and “Ashamed.” -[Jambands]

The shows continue on 12/12 with a performance of The Black Dirt Sessions and Holy Shit it’s Christmas EP (tickets), followed by the 12/19 show featuring Divine Providence and Tim EP (tickets).
