WIRED pop-up store in NYC hosting free events, Hospitality play tonight

Much like the Etsy‘s store, tech mag WIRED has a pop-up store during the holiday season (its eighth year) and theirs is located at 534 Broadway at Price St. in SoHo. In addition to featuring loads of the latest gear and gadgets, the WIRED store is also hosting events and live music. Tonight (12/6), Hospitality will play a free show and the event, which includes “beer, beverages, & light bites,” goes from 7 – 10 PM. You do need to RSVP. As an extra incentive to get there early, the first 100 people through the door get a free “Moxie showerhead from KOHLER that streams music right into your shower.” The WIRED store has a few other events but, apart from a “DIY workshop” on Saturday (12/8) they are all listed as “invite only” with no other details. Seems Scroogish to us.

If you can’t swing by the WIRED store tonight, don’t forget Hospitality will play Bowery Ballroom on January 10 with Household and tickets are still available. We’re also giving a pair away and details are below, along with a stream of their new single, “Monkey.”
