As mentioned, Youth Lagoon is releasing his second album, Wondrous Bughouse, on March 5 via Fat Possum and he just revealed the album’s first single, “Dropla.” It’s cleaner and more fleshed out than his lo-fi, inward-looking debut, The Year of Hibernation, which makes a lot of sense for an artist who has spent the last year or so doing anything but hibernating, and who finally got a drummer. You can download the song above or stream it below.
Youth Lagoon has some upcoming dates this winter, and as discussed he/they will open for The National in Brooklyn at the huge Barclays Center on June 5. Tickets
