Little Children add show w/ other Nordic bands; win tix to see the Shout Out Louds

As mentioned, Sweden’s delicate folk act Little Children will be in NYC to open for Shout Out Louds at Music Hall of Williamsburg on March 11. Tickets are still available, but if you’d like to go for free we’re giving away two pair. Contest details are below.

Before the MHOW show, Little Children will also play Pianos on March 8 as part of an all-Nordic line-up. (No advance tickets just yet.) Also playing are Norway’s Heyerdahl whose percussion-heavy, moody and expansive album, Øen, was released this week. It’s worth and listen and you can stream it below.

Opening the night at Pianos is Helsinki’s Anni Mattila, who describes her sound as “Norah Jones & Janelle Monáe went to a Finnish sauna.” You can stream her song “Sneakers” below.
