This past Saturday’s episode of SNL, which featured a performance by Miguel and a new Daft Punk ad, also included a Fred Armisen-led skit, which paid a “punk tribute” to the late Margaret Thatcher. The skit featured a band called Ian Rubbish and the Bizzaros, who write songs about the queen and other British politics (albeit from a different perspective than most punks had). Check out the video of that skit below. And it’s not the first time Fred Armisen brought his knowledge of punk to SNL.

Empire of the Sun, the post-Sleepy Jackson pop project from Luke Steele, will release their second album, Ice on the Dune, in June. You can stream first single, “Alive,” below.
