David Lynch releasing a new album, made a video for song with Lykke Li

Influential filmmaker David Lynch will release his sophmore effort, The Big Dream, on July 16 via Sacred Bones. Says Lynch, “Most of the songs start out as a type of blues jam and then we go sideways from there. What comes out is a hybrid, modernized form of low-down blues.”

The album features 10 Lynch originals and one cover of Bob Dylan’s “The Ballad of Hollis Brown.” You can preorder yours at the label now and get a free download of bonus track “I’m Waiting Here,” featuring vocals from Lykke Li. There’s a new video for that song and you can watch it below.
