The Love Language

Raleigh, NC’s The Love Language are set to release their third album, Ruby Red, on July 23 via Merge. The first single, “Calm Down,” is a pretty heavy dose of anthemic indie ending in a shoegaze meltdown, and you can stream that track, along with the album artwork, below.

The Love Language will be supporting the new album with another band that has a knack for driving hooks, Eternal Summers (who have a new Doug Gillard-produced album on the way that can be pre-ordered at Pledgemusic). That tour brings both bands to NYC for shows on July 31 at Mercury Lounge and August 1 at Glasslands. TIckets for the Mercury Lounge show and tickets for the Glasslands show go on sale Friday (6/7) at noon.

All dates are listed, along with that song stream and album artwork, below…
