Blitzen Trapper announce new album & tour (dates & stream)

Portland folk rockers Blitzen Trapper are set to return this year with a new album, VII, on October 1 via Vagrant Records. Its first single is the rollicking, pedal steel-filled country twanger, “Ever Loved Once,” which you can stream below (via Rolling Stone).

Blitzen Trapper will also be going on tour around the time of the new album’s release, and that tour brings them to NYC for a show on October 3 at Music Hall of Williamsburg. Tickets for that show go on AmEx presale today (7/31) at noon with a general on-sale starting Friday (8/2) at noon.
