As mentioned, French eccentric Philippe Katerine will make his U.S. live debut here in NYC on Friday (7/12) at Florence Gould Hall as part of French Institute Alliance Française’s Bastille Day weekend celebration. Tickets are still available.

With good timing, Katerine has just announced that he’ll release a new album, Magnum, in October. The record’s first single is “Sexy Cool” and was produced by Ed Banger artist SebastiAn. If you think the cover art above is something, wait till you get a load of the music video. Watch it below.
