Fool’s Gold Records are returning with their free Labor Day (9/2) party, Fool’s Gold Day Off again this year. Unlike past years, when it was held in the City Winery backyard, this year it’s taking place at big outdoor Brooklyn venue, Williamsburg Park. The lineup includes Danny Brown (who also played last year), Run the Jewels (aka Killer Mike and El-P, who we just caught at Webster Hall), Migos, A$AP Ferg, World’s Fair, Action Bronson collaborator Party Supplies, Duck Sauce, Unibros (special DJ set), Grandemarshall, Nick Catchdubs, #BEEN#TRILL, and “special guests.” The party runs from 2 PM-10 PM, and though it’s free, you do have to RSVP (entry is still first come, first served, though). Show flyer below.

Danny Brown, who just released a new track, can also be seen for free in NYC even sooner at Afro-Punk Festival (8/24-25). After Fool’s Gold Day Off, he heads out on a tour with Action Bronson that ends in NJ for Rock the Bells this October.

A$AP Ferg is releasing his new album, Trap Lord, this week (8/20). The album features guest appearances from A$AP Rocky, Schoolboy Q, Bone Thugs N Harmony, and more, and it can be streamed in full at Ferg’s website.

Other upcoming hip hop shows at Williamsburg Park include Kendrick Lamar (9/10) and 2 Chainz (9/15).
