The Spy Music Festival is back for a third year of experimental sounds, going down over two nights next month: September 7 at Spectrum, and September 8 at 285 Kent.

The 9/7 show at Spectrum (121 Ludlow St.) features the Charles Gayle Trio, Loren Connors & Suzanne Langille, Diamond Terrifier and more. $10 at the door and you can RSVP too.

The 9/8 show at 285 Kent is a little more high-profile, with Caught on Tape (aka Thurston Moore & John Moloney), Aa, Chris Forsyth & The Solar Motel Band, Ava Luna and more. Advance tickets are on sale for this night and your ticket also gets you free Six Point beer.
