“As part of their ongoing “The Music Experiment 2.0” social media-driven concert series, MTV Iggy and Intel Corporation today announced that Grammy Award-winning rock band Arcade Fire will perform a special show at an as-yet-unannounced outdoor location in Los Angeles on October 29th, upon release of their hotly anticipated fourth studio album, Reflektor.

Beginning today, October 15th, fans can visit www.MusicExperiment.com for a chance to win tickets to the exclusive live performance by participating in “The Music Experiment 2.0” across Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram, Vine, Shazam & Twitter. The performance will also stream live on www.MusicExperiment.com and through The Music Experiment Windows App.

Arcade Fire was also added to Neil Young’s annual Bridge School Benefit along with Tom Waits, Queens of the Stone Age, Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, fun., My Morning Jacket, Elvis Costello, Jenny Lewis, Heart, and Diana Krall. The two day event takes place October 26th and 27th at Shoreline Amphitheatre.

Meanwhile, Arcade Fire will be in NYC for two NYC shows this week. The location is still officially undisclosed, as is the way to get tickets, but My Social List and Arcade Fire Tube seem to have figured out that the location is a warehouse-turned-cultural center located at 299 Meserole in Brooklyn (the same location as a 10/26 Halloween party with Alex Metric and Just Blaze). Stay tuned for more details!

The band are also playing Big Night in Little Haiti at Little Haiti Cultural Center in Miami on October 24. Special presale (only with artist presale code) starts Wednesday 10/16 at 10AM. On sale to the public Thursday 10/17 at 10AM.

They return to NYC in November for the YouTube Awards.
