On Wednesday (10/16), Chris stopped Ace Hotel for a free day show presented by MyMusicRX, which is part of the Children’s Cancer Association (CCA).

“Kids and teens facing a serious illness across the country can register to receive free music medicine at MyMusicRx.org. On any given day, 24/7, they can play free online music games, explore digital instruments, record original music, watch exclusive video greetings from their favorite artists, and connect with other youth.

But it’s not just for kids–music lovers of all ages can download the free MyMusicRx app to purchase their iTunes music (5% of proceeds go to CCA). They can even prescribe music as medicine, sharing songs that match a kid’s mood or lifts their spirits.”

The lineup included Arc Iris (Jocie Adams of the Low Anthem’s new band), Jesca Hoop (who opened for Placebo at Terminal 5 the night before), Diego Garcia (Elefant), and special guest Menomena who headline Webster Hall Thursday as part of a bigger tour with the Helio Sequence.

Arc Iris and Diego Garcia share a NYC bill again at Highline Ballroom on 10/22.
