Tennis sign to Communion Records, ready new EP & touring w/ Savoir Adore & On An On in November (dates, streams)

Tennis

Boat-loving duo Tennis have signed with Communion Music (the label co-run by Ben Lovett of Mumford & Sons) and will release their new EP, Small Sound, on November 5. It was produced by Richard Swift (Foxygen, The Shins) and Jim Eno (Spoon, Polica), and you can stream the title track in this post.

Tennis will be heading out on the road next month as part of a “Communion Presents” tour that includes Savoir Adore, On an On and Night Sweats. All four bands will play the NYC date which happens at Rockwood Music Hall’s new Stage 3 on November 5. (Rockwood is also the new home for the longrunning Communion series.) Tickets are on sale now. Not all bands will play every date, all of which are listed below.

Before the Rockwood show, Tennis will play the “School Night” series at Brooklyn Bowl on November 3. The shows are free with RSVP (which hasn’t been posted yet).

Meanwhile, Savoir Adore also recently announced a show with French Horn Rebellion happening on December 6 at Music Hall of Williamsburg. Tickets for that show are on AmEx presale now, and they go on sale to the general public on Friday (10/4) at noon.
