Arcade Fire still want you to dress up... for their arena tour

Arcade Fire recently announced a massive tour in support of their new double LP, Reflektor, which includes Coachella 2014 and arenas across the US and Canada. They’ve since announced that like they did for those intimate album release shows, they want you to dress up. Ticketmaster pages for all stops on the tour say “NIGHT OF SHOW: Please wear formal attire or costume.” As Stereogum points out, this seems a bit weird for these not-at-all intimate shows, and it’s hard to imagine they’ll be able to strictly enforce this, but who knows. What do you guys think?

Arcade Fire’s tour hits NYC on August 22 and 23 at Barclays Center. Tickets for all dates go on sale Friday (11/22) with Live Nation/Mobile App presales starting Thursday (11/21) at 10 AM. AmEx presales and album pre-order presales are currently on going.
