Baauer on tour, playing NYC w/ Ryan Hemsworth before NYE in Philly, giving away USB drive of new music

Baauer, or that guy who made “Harlem Shake,” has done more that accidentally create a viral meme; he can get pretty big crowds moving. He had the whole place dancing when I saw him DJ before Kendrick Lamar’s set at SXSW and he was a hit at Coachella too. He’s currently on the road with AraabMuzik and S-Type, and after that he’ll do a few year-end dates including New Year’s Eve in Philly and a NYC show a few days earlier at Webster Hall on December 28. That show is a Brite Nites party and also includes cloud rap/pop producer Ryan Hemsworth in addition to CZ, Alex English, and rekLES. Tickets for that show go on sale Tuesday (11/12) at 10 AM. All dates, including the South American Lollapaloozas, are listed below.

On his tour, Baauer’s been throwing out USB drives with new music on them, and telling fans, “If you get one, share it with your friends, upload it to the Internet, or just keep it for yourself.
