The Casket Girls releasing new album, touring (dates/stream)

Savannah, Georgia’s The Casket Girls will release their second album, True Love Kills the Fairy Tale, on February 11 via Graveface Records. Ryan Graveface, who is also in Black Moth Super Rainbow, is a member of the group but it is fronted by Elsa and Phaedra Greene. The new album takes very hummable pop and runs it through dirty electronics, a production style that should be familiar to BMSR fans. You can stream True Love Kills the Fairy Tale‘s opening cut, “Same Side,” below.
The Casket Girls will be touring once the LP is out, and that includes a NYC show at Mercury Lounge on February 18. Tickets for that show go on sale Wednesday (11/27) at noon. All tour dates are listed below.
