Old 97's

Old 97‘s are celebrating their 20th anniversary this year and will release Most Messed Up on April 29 via ATO. The record, recorded in Austin with producer Salim Nourallah, features guest appearances from The Replacements’ Tommy Stinson and Jon Rauhouse (Neko Case’s band). The band have released the first single from the album, “Longer Than You’ve Been Alive,” and Rhett Miller gets off more than a few good lines (“Life is a marathon and sometimes you puke”). You can stream it over at EW.com and check out the cover art and tracklist below.

While Old 97’s haven’t announced a tour yet (they played NYC last summer), Rhett Miller will be on the road this month and next, including a stop at NYC’s City Winery on March 3. Anthony D’Amato is also on the bill and tickets for that show are on sale now. All tour dates are listed below.
