Broken Bells @ Firefly Music Fest 6/22/2014

Broken Bells (aka James Mercer & Danger Mouse) were in NYC last night (6/23), playing The Late Show with David Letterman, performing “Control” from their most recent album, After The Disco. The band then stuck around the Ed Sullivan Theatre to perform a full set for the “Live on Letterman” web series. You can watch both those performances below.

Their Letterman appearances were fresh off the band’s 6/22 performance at last weekend’s Firefly Music Festival in Delaware. Pictures from their set at Firefly are in this post.

The band have already been through NYC on a couple go-rounds (like Governors Ball), this year, and they’ve now expanded their current tour to include a bunch more dates, including NYC’s Central Park Summerstage on September 26 with opener Hamilton Leithauser of The Walkmen. Tickets for that show go on sale Friday (6/27) at 10 AM.
