Mutilation Rites

Brooklyn’s black metal staple Mutilation Rites have shared a new song called “Contaminate” from their forthcoming album Harbinger, and, if you’re familiar with the band, the track should feel like a welcome addition to Mutilation Rites’ catalogue. Thrashy, a little death metalled-out and caked with filth, Mutilation Rites are refining the sound they first put out to a larger audience on Empyrean. Stream it, via Noisey, below…

Mutilation Rites played Maryland Deathfest recently, and now they are scheduled to tour with Philadelphia’s fuzzy, thrashy ripping black metal band Hexer (the bands share a member–Mutilation Rites singer George Paul). That tour includes the July 11 show at The Paper Box with The Mentors and many more, as well as a stop at Gilead Fest in Wisconsin. Check out all of the dates below.

Speaking of Paper Box, member of Mutilation Rites are in Hellbent Hookers who play the Bushwick venue for the TromaDance afterparty later in June. Mutilation Rites dates are listed, along with the new song stream,  below…
