Alpenglow releasing an EP, touring, playing Baby's All Right (dates & new video)

Alpenglow

Alpenglow, who recently relocated from Burlington, VT to Brooklyn (against Jeff Tweedy’s suggestion), will be releasing the followup to 2013’s Solitude EP, Chapel, this September via Section Sign Records. Its first single, “Brothers In Crime,” is equal parts indie folk and dream pop, sounding like a cross between Fleet Foxes’ acoustic guitars and pastoral melodies with Beach House’s atmosphere. The video for that track premieres in this post and can be watched, along with the tracklist and artwork, below.

Alpenglow are also about to kick off a tour this month which will see them performing in front of a projection of Vermont filmmaker John Douglas’ 1971 film GLACIER. The tour begins Thursday (7/10) in Hudson, NY and hits NYC on Sunday (7/13) at Baby’s All Right with Caroline Rose and Lapland. Tickets for the Baby’s show are on sale now.

All dates are listed, with the new video and EP tracklist/artwork, below…
