Deep Purple released their 19th album last year, and this summer they’ll be going on a tour in support of it that comes near NYC with NJ shows at Mayo PAC on 8/24 and Bergen PAC on 8/25, and a Long Island show on 8/26 at NYCB Theatre at Westbury. Tickets for the Bergen and Westbury shows are available here and tix for the Mayo show are available here. Those shows are just a few days before singer Ian Gillan and 3,000 amateur guitarists may or may not set a world record during their “Smoke on the Water” performance.
