Deaf Wish

Melbourne, Australia’s Deaf Wish have been around, making skronky noise since the late ’00s. The band will release a new four-song 7″ EP, titled St Vincent’s, via Sub Pop on October 7. You can stream the title cut in all it’s sneery, droning glory below.

Like seemingly all of Australia’s indie rock contingent, Deaf Wish are coming over for Gonerfest 11 in Memphis next month and have plotted a North American tour around it. Those dates include two in NYC: October 2 at Death by Audio (where they’ve played before) and October 3 at a venue TBA.
