Citizen releasing a tour-only 7" for "Silo" (stream it)

Citizen are set to go on a tour with ’90s-style emo band You Blew It! as well as Hostage Calm and True Love. For that, they’ll be putting out a tour-only 7″ for a new song, “Silo,” which features the full-band version on the a-side and a stripped down version on the flip. Like on last year’s Youth LP, “Silo” blends early ’00s post-hardcore with late ’90s post-grunge in ways not unlike their peers in Balance & Composure and Daylight nka Superheaven. The song premieres in this post and can be streamed below.

As discussed, the tour hits NYC on October 10 at The Studio at Webster Hall. Tickets for the NYC show are still available. Head here for ticket links for the rest of the tour.
