Diane Cluck on tour, playing Rockwood tonight and Friday

Folk singer Diane Cluck is currently on the road once again in support of this year’s very good Boneset LP, her first since 2006. The tour hits NYC tonight (9/11) and Friday (9/12) at Rockwood Music Hall, the same venue she sold out two nights at last time. For these shows, she’s promising a mix of the old and the new, and will be adding in new handmade instruments to her set. She’ll be joined by special guest Isaac Gut at tonight’s show on harmonica. Tickets for tonight and Friday’s Rockwood shows are on sale now.

Diane’s saying the tour will be her last for a while so she can focus on her musical studies and completing her ongoing Song-of-the-Week project. The most recent installment of that was last week’s “Grandma Say” which you can hear a clip of here. Some of the songs that ended up on Boneset were initially debuted during that series.
