Tickets for the second Future Islands, Operators and Wing Dam show at Terminal 5 are on AmEx and Fan Club presale now. Night 1 is sold out.

Tickets for the Ariel Pink show at Terminal 5 go on AmEx presale today at noon.

Tickets for the Fishbone show at Gramercy Theatre go on Live Nation/Music Geeks presale today at 10 AM.

Dropkick Murphys are returning to the NYC-area around St. Patrick’s Day for two shows at Long Island’s Paramount (Mar. 3 & 4) and three shows at Irving Plaza (Mar. 8, 9 & 10). Tickets for those shows go on venue presale for the Paramount shows and Live Nation/Music Geeks (password: musicgeeks) presales for the Irving shows today at 10 AM. General on-sale starts Friday (10/24) at 10 AM.

Counting Crows are playing a free and very intimate show at The Bowery Electric on Thursday (10/23) with Filligar, Mean Creek, Hallelujah the Hills, Lily & the Parlour Tricks and more. RSVP for free admission.

Tickets for the Hundred Waters show at Rough Trade go on sale today at noon.

Tickets for the Matmos show at Issue Project Room are on sale now.

Max Richter is playing Bowery Ballroom on December 7 and Le Poisson Rouge on March 26 with a string quintet. Tickets for the Bowery show go on sale today at noon, and tickets for the LPR show are on sale now. UPDATE: The LPR show was initially listed for St. Ann’s Church on 3/20, but appears to have been moved to LPR on 3/26.

Cold War Kids and Elliot Moss have a small sold-out Rough Trade show on Wednesday (10/22), and they’ve now added a much larger show together happening March 20 at Terminal 5. Tickets for that show go on AmEx presale today at noon with the general on-sale starting Friday (10/24) at noon.

Dark Blue are playing a free 2 PM show on Sunday (10/26) at Rough Trade. Because Strand of Oaks are on tour, for this show Sean McGuinness from Pissed Jeans/Rat Fist will be playing drums.

Tickets for the official BrooklynVegan CMJ showcase with The Jazz June, Pity Sex, Beach Slang, Cayetana and Sport happening at Baby’s All Right are on sale now.

BrooklynVegan is also co-presenting the Iron Pier CMJ showcase with Self Defense Family, Walter Schreifels & the Dead Heavens and Deep Pockets, and tickets for that one are on sale now too.

There are also free BrooklynVegan day parties at Baby’s All Right on Friday and Saturday from noon to 7 PM.
