Hot Rod Circuit returning w/ 'Sorry About Tomorrow' lineup in 2015

Hot Rod Circuit

The world of late ’90s/early ’00s emo has given us another exciting return. There’s already been word that Hot Rod Circuit had new music stirring for 2015, and today singer Andy Jackson tweeted, “New @hotrodcircuit record lineup will be Myself, casey, jay, and mike #sorryabouttomorrow #2015,” which of course (as the hashtag points out) is the lineup that recorded their most universally loved album, 2002’s Sorry About Tomorrow. If a new full length comes, it’d be their first since 2007’s The Underground Is a Dying Breed (which, though less celebrated than their early ’00s period, had some of their best songs) and their first new music since their 2011 EP on Run for Cover. And let’s hope this lineup means we’ll be hearing some Sorry About Tomorrow on tour too.

Tour dates and new music is still TBA, stay tuned. Meanwhile, revisit some Sorry About Tomorrow highlights below…
