Wisdom Tooth (John from Quilt) releases new 7" via Singles Club (stream); Quilt opening for Widowspeak at Glasslands

Singles Club is a combination music journal and record club where you get a zine and an exclusive 7″ delivered to you quarterly. Issues from this year featured Daniel Bachman, Small Sur, and Woodsman, and the final 2014 issue came out this week featuring Wisdom Tooth, the solo project from John Andrews of Quilt. We’ve got the premiere of “Silver” from it in this post. With saloon piano backing it’s a little more backwoods folky than what he does with Quilt. You can stream it below.
You can still subscribe to get 2014 issues/records as well. The first Singles Club issue of 2015 will feature a 7″ from LA band Monster Rally who have made a mixtape for Singles Club which you can stream below as well.
In related news, Quilt will be playing Glasslands on December 20 with What Moon Things, Shana Falana and headliners Widowspeak. That’s one of the venue’s last shows before they close and tickets are still available.
