Acid Mothers Temple & The Melting Paraiso U.F.O., the improvisational space rock variant of the Japanese psych-rock collective, recently reissued their 2006 album, Have You Seen the Other Side of the Sky?, on vinyl with an added song and a rearranged running order. You can stream the original version of the album, in all its out-there glory, below.

They’ll be on tour this spring as well, and the lineup for Acid Mothers Temple & The Melting Paraiso U.F.O. is this:

Tsuyama Atsushi : bass, voice
Kawabata Makoto : guitar, voice
Higashi Hiroshi : synthesizer, voice
Tabata Mitsuru : guitar, guitar-synthesizer, voice
Satoshima Nani : drums
and
Justin Waters : god

They won’t be playing Austin Psych Fest this year (though they do play Austin) but dates do include two NYC shows: Knitting Factory on May 6 and Mercury Lounge on May 7. Tickets for Knitting Factory are on sale now; tickets for Mercury Lounge go on sale Friday, February 6 at noon.
