H Hawkline releasing album produced by Cate Le Bon (listen)

You may recognize Huw Gwynfryn Evans from playing guitar in Cate Le Bon’s band and White Fence. Huw makes his own music under the name H Hawkline and will release In The Pink Of Condition, his first album for Heavenly Recordings, on February 2. Cate produced the album (they are also a couple) and if you dig her distinctly Welsh brand of off kilter psych-pop, H Hawkline is clearly from the same mossy, skronky realm. (Syd Barrett and Jacco Gardner fans should also take note.) We’ve got the premiere of the manic, bouncy “Ringfinger” which you can stream, along with another song off the new album, below.

If you live in the UK, H Hawkline will be on tour in February. Let’s hope North American dates follow at some point. All dates are listed, along with song streams, below…
