Sun Kil Moon released the most well-received album of his lengthy, fruitful career last year with Benji, and he’s already ready to put out its followup this year. It’s called Universal Themes, is out June 2 on his own Caldo Verde Records, and includes song titles like “With a Sort of Grace I Walked to the Bathroom to Cry” and “Cry Me a River Williamsburg Sleeve Tattoo Blues” and “This Is My First Day and I’m Indian and I Work at a Gas Station.” Like the last album, Sonic Youth’s Steve Shelley played on it.
